Tea Time!

Nothing is as satifying as a nice cup of tea.

Tea not only has the ability to comfort us, but different types of tea can also wake us, help us sleep, boost our immune system, aid digestion and so much more.

Here are a few of my favorite combinations. No worries! There’s nothing exotic here. In fact, chances are you have many of these ingredients on hand.

How about a nice cup of tea?

Breakfast Tea

Celon black tea is the perfect morning cup with just enough energy to get your day started.

Relaxation Tea

My favorite blend for anxiety and sleep is chamomile, valerian, passion flower and lavender.

Immuni-tea

The perfect blend to boost the immune system is echinacea, elderberry, moringa, peppermint and ginger. And it’s tasty, too!

Seasonal Allergy Tea

Nettles have long been used for seasonal allergy relief and they are also rich in iron. Add local honey to your cup as an antidote to the pollen in your area.

Digestion Tea

For gas, indigestion and general tummy upset I like to use bay cedar bark, moringa and ginger root for fast relief.

Detoxification Tea

To cleanse the organs I love wild yam, rabbit’s paw, senna, golondrina and plantain. However, my favorite detox plant is Tres Puntas, which is very bitter. I recommend taking that in capsule or tincture form to get it down fast!
